Addressing the reader

Addressing the reader in any manual is an important aspect for understanding and personalization.

We shall always address the reader directly using first person.

Write it like this:

You can open the on-line help by clicking the ? on the title bar.

Do not write it like this:

The user can open the on-line help by clicking the ? on the title bar.
