Signboards

Signboards can be either freestanding or wall mounted. The size of signboards should neither be too large to seem flashy, nor to small to go unnoticed.

Before you have new signs made, you must have your drawings/sketches approved by Kongsberg Maritime, Corporate Communications.

 

Free-standing signboards

This illustration shows how outdoor free-standing signs shall look. It is important that the logo is kept separate from the company name and other text.

Observe the clear space requirements that apply.

Typeface

The typeface for all text is Verdana normal (regular).

Colour specification

Use the standard logo colours. All text shall be white.

Exceptions and additional details

Corporate Communications can provide additional details related to the design of signboards. Exceptions to the above rules may in some cases be approved. Such exceptions may be permitted for practical reasons, or if the suggested changes are requested to match a superior design. All exceptions must however be pre-approved by Corporate Communications.

 

Wall mounted signs

The photo shows an example of how wall mounted signs shall appear.

When you placing the logo, you must always observe the clear space requirements that apply.

Wall mounted signs signs shall only include the logo. No additional text is permitted.

Corporate Communications can give you more information about signs. Exceptions to the above may in some cases where practical reasons preclude the use of standard signage be allowed. This must how ever be pre-approved by Corporate Communications.
