The Motion Gyro Compass - MGC product range complements the well-established and comprehensive range of MRU models (Motion Reference Unit) for high-end offshore and survey applications. MGC has INS capabilities with embedded north seeking algorithms and outputs both raw (gyro and accelerometer) and processed sensor data including heading, roll, pitch, heave and position.

A vital component in other systems

MGC is designed for high precision maritime applications such as offshore operations and seabed mapping, and includes integrated navigation algorithms with input from a GNSS receiver for output of aided position and heading data. The MGC can be used as a stand-alone unit or as an IMU in other systems.
