TC-600 Thruster Control System is highly modular and can be configured for mechanical and electric propulsion as well as all types of thrusters.
The TC-600 Thruster Control System is highly modular system that can be configured for mechanical
and electric propulsion as well as all types of thrusters. The Thruster Control
system can operate as a stand-alone electric tunnel thruster, to complement the AutoChief®600
remote control system or similar main propulsion control system, or can be completely
integrated with the AutoChief®600 remote control system.
The TC-600 Control Panel is designed for ease of operation.
An advanced, yet simple to use multifunction controller gives access to all system
functions. Information is provided only when needed to keep operation simple.
A colour display presents key information graphically to the operator. Main variables
such as RPM, pitch, engine state etc. are always available. The system can be integrated
with our K-Chief 600 marine automation system.
To facilitate remote control levers are located on the bridge next to the Control
Panel. Several single levers or a dual lever can be installed to operate multiple
bow or aft tunnel thrusters.
Local control box
Primary control will be performed using the operator panel located on the bridge.
However, the thrusters can also be controlled using operator panels located in the
Distributed processing units
The system uses reliable, ruggedized single board Distributed Processing Units.
All signals to and from the engine are transmitted on dual redundant CAN lines (bus
on engine). This principle drastically reduces the installation and cabling cost.

Distributed Processing Units are installed in the Local Control Box and designed
